We warrant that the equipment that we supply as a result of orders will conform to the advertised specification, although we are unable to guarantee compatibility with other equipment or any form of suitability.
It is the responsibility of the customer to assess such compatibility or suitability before placing an order. While we constantly work to ensure that all relevant information is as accurate as possible no liability can be accepted for any errors or omissions (including typographical errors) in our website advertising or promotion.
All prices quoted are in pounds sterling unless otherwise clearly stated and VAT is charged on all orders at the standard rate (currently 17.5%).
We reserve the absolute right to accept or reject orders for any reason, without prejudice to our rights. Orders will be considered binding only after acceptance by the company and title of all goods will remain with Valutech Limited until payment has been made in full.
We will normally despatch goods within two working days following clearance of funds. Funds clearance can vary according to the method of payment, but please note that because of the prevalence of attempted credit card fraud, despatches for first time credit card orders will take place once funds have reached the bank account of Valutech Limited, usually two or three working days following an order.
Whilst every effort is made to adhere to stated delivery times, Valutech Limited cannot be held liable for any losses or costs incurred as a result of a failure to adhere to estimated delivery times.
Any damage to goods through the delivery process or missing elements of an order should be advised to the company within 3 days of delivery. Provided that this notice period is adhered to, we will collect and replace, repair or refund the cost of the goods without charge.
Distance Selling Regulations
Your rights Under the terms of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel a contract within seven days - beginning on the day after you take delivery of the goods (defined as a "cooling off" period).
You have the right to cancel for any reason without penalty and to expect a refund. If for some reason you do wish to cancel a contract for the purchase of goods from Valutech Limited or one of its trading brands please contact us via written letter, fax or e-mail clearly stating your full details, invoice number and cancellation instructions.
Please note that in order to cancel the contract, you must do so by giving us notice within seven working days beginning on the day after you take delivery of the goods. Once you have cancelled a contract, you have a legally binding "duty of care" to take good care of the goods in question and to return them in the condition in which they arrived.
You must return the goods at your own expense to Valutech Limited to the address below. We would strongly advise that an insured courier service is used for returning goods, or a recorded-delivery service for smaller items. Please mark all parcels clearly with your returns number.
If it is more convenient to you, we can arrange collection by our regular couriers, with any costs incurred in this process being deducted from your final refund.
We will refund the full amount paid for the goods, less any costs for collection, within 30 days of receipt of the cancellation notice.
Repair Terms and Conditions
If you are having a unit repaired by us under one of our corporate or reseller agreements, please note the following concerning data protection. We strongly advise that where possible a backup is made of any critical data on the hard disk drive prior to the machine being collected by Valutech Limited. Valutech Limited can not be held responsible for loss of data as a result of a machine being repaired. On occasion Valutech Limited may need to change a hard drive or wipe an existing hard drive, this will result in loss of personal data on the machine.
